Each of our Sister Islands are unique and offer an opportunity to indulge your adventurous side with an ‘off the beaten path’ experience. In North Caicos, visitors enjoy bird watching before voyaging to the connected Middle Caicos. Middle Caicos is home to one of the largest cave systems in the Caribbean and offers breathtaking views on Mudjin Harbour from limestone cliffs. Grand Turk, the capital, offers world class diving on the third largest barrier reef system in the world. Salt Cay offers exciting Humpback whale watching excursions from December to April. South Caicos is a watersports haven with activities ranging from diving kayaking, fishing and snorkeling.

ISLAND FISH FRY

The weekly event hosted by the Turks and Caicos Tourist Board, entices locals and visitors alike to experience an evening of fun in a family friendly setting. The evening culminates with Junkanoo (a traditional procession of masqueraders in costume dancing to the rhythm of drums, cowbells and other native instruments). Come and enjoy succulent local food, great entertainment and a first-hand look at Turks & Caicos’ culture. Please note: the Island Fish Fry has not reopened yet.

Snorkeling is one of the most popular past-times of visitors to the Turks and Caicos Islands and thanks to the Turks and Caicos Barrier Reef, the islands have an abundance of vibrant reef formations and relatively calm waters in which to enjoy viewing them.

Whale Watching

WHALE WATCHING

One of nature’s most dramatic shows is on display every winter in the waters just off the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is the annual migration of humpback whales that pass by here on their way to their winter breeding grounds in the Dominican Republic.

While Grace Bay Beach is renowned for its powder like sand and crystal clear waters, all of the islands also boast additional unspoiled beaches worth exploring.

A visit to Middle Caicos is the perfect opportunity to explore some of the largest limestone cave systems in the Caribbean region with the underground caves extending for miles and connecting to the ocean including The Indian Cave and Conch Bar Cave.
