How to Submit a Price Match

Step 1: Email your request
Email your request to uvcompmatch@applelg.net
In the subject line, include the United Vacations reservation number and destination code in the subject line.

Step 2: Include competitor information
In the body of the email, include a screenshot with the complete competitor information inclusive of date & time stamp.
For traditional tour operators: send a competitor screenshot from the travel agent booking site (including air class of service).
For OTAs and Hotel Direct: send competitor screenshot from the consumer booking site (air class of service display is required if displayed with a competitor).

Step 3: Provide supporting back-up
Supporting back-up MUST be a screen shot, such as a static and non-modifiable print screen inclusive of computer date/time stamp for verification; it cannot be simply copied and pasted from a website. URLs, mobile print screens and e-mailed itineraries are also NOT accepted forms.

Step 4: Receive confirmation
You will receive a confirmation response within 3 normal business hours.
1For price matches to be honored; all components of the vacation must be identical including flight, air class of service, hotel, room category, meal plan, airport/hotel transfers, arrival date, length of stay, and add-on features. Travel protection is considered separate from price matches due to variances in plan benefits. Guarantee valid for new, same-day bookings only, against US-based competitor’s final price including promo codes when all vacation components match. Matches against membership clubs, nonrefundable rates, or other unique situations are subject to review and may not be matched. Matches may be excluded in the case of a competitor system error. United Vacations promo codes may not be used for additional discounting on top of the competitor matched price. Price matches with a price differential of over $1,000 total or over 40% of the hotel rate on the reservation are subject to further review and are not guaranteed.
2Price matches against OTAs and Hotel Direct sites are commissionable at up to 8% (Contracted Hotels vary from 5-8% depending on reservation; Published hotels 5%; Air 0%). Price match adjustments are removed on all reservations that are re-booked at a lower rate. Must contact United Vacations the same day the vacation is booked for price match to apply. Policy subject to change with/without notice. Some restrictions may apply.
3Adjustments on approved price matches appear on the reservation within 15 minutes (price matches approved at the end of the business day will be reflected on the reservation the morning of the following business day). Valid for price match requests submitted electronically Mon-Fri during normal business hours.
